At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Food Production Operative to work with a leading company in the food manufacturing sector in Sheffield. This role involves essential production tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Shift patterns

• 07:30 - 16:00 | Mon - Fri | Fixed
• Must be available for 40 hours per week.

Pay rates

• 13.00 GBP hourly

Must-have requirements for Food Production Operative

• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
• Commute distance to Sheffield (S13 9AD) must be no more than 1 hour.
• Availability for morning shifts, Monday to Friday, between 07:30 and 17:00.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including packing and deep cleaning.

Desirable requirements for Food Production Operative

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing, baking, or industrial cleaning environment is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable team player with excellent attention to detail.

Role for Food Production Operative

• Sorting, boxing, and stacking finished products onto pallets for distribution.
• Draining, cleaning, and sterilizing industrial fryers, automated glazers, and conveyor systems using safe chemical practices.
• Adhering to food safety laws and maintaining workstation sanitation to prevent cross-contamination.
• Wearing mandatory personal protective equipment at all times.
