At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse operative to work with a leading bookseller in Burton upon Trent. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and managing stock, ensuring all operations run smoothly and safely.

Shift patterns

• Flexible to work between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
• Shifts may vary: 06:00-14:00, 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, 12:00-20:00 or 14:00-22:00.
• Working any 5 days out of 7, including Sundays.
• Shifts confirmed daily within the Job&Talent app.

Pay rates

• 13.14 GBP hourly

Essential requirements for Warehouse operative

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must be able to travel to and from the site for late-night finishes without issues.
• Must be available to work every Sunday as part of the regular schedule.
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks, including lifting/handling items and standing/walking for most of the shift.
• Must live within a 15-mile commuting distance.
• Full time hours only.

Role for Warehouse operative

• Picking and packing books and managing stock.
• Reporting any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties.
• Working to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
• Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety awareness and reporting any areas of concern immediately.
• Assisting with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary.
• Supporting colleagues and team leaders with all day to day tasks.
