Introduction

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Gloucester. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse, focusing on Goods In and yard management. Please note that this is an outdoor position, requiring comfort with working in cold, wet, and changeable weather conditions.

Shift Patterns

• 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, Fixed shift

Pay Rates

• 13.95 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous FLT driving experience
• Experience loading and unloading pallets
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, wet and changeable weather
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards

Skills and Soft Skills

• Experience in Goods In or yard operations
• Experience using or supporting a cardboard baler or compactor
• Basic understanding of warehouse stock movement
• Comfortable working during peak operational periods
• Good communication skills and a flexible approach
• Safety-focused, reliable, and punctual
• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Calm under pressure and a strong team player

Role Responsibilities

• Load and unload packaging pallets efficiently
• Move materials safely across the yard and warehouse
• Support the cardboard baler and compactor operations
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the shift
• Ensure materials are readily available for the wider warehouse operation
