At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Checker to work with a leading food manufacturing company in Bristol. This role is essential for ensuring that prepared meals meet strict menu specifications and quality standards before they are dispatched.

Shift Patterns

• Regular roster of 4 on 4 off shift
• Availability for 16:00 - 03:30

Pay Rates

• 13.51 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements

• Educated to GCSE level
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to pass a DBS check
• Provision of 5 years of referencing history

Desirable Requirements

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in the food industry
• Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or stores environment
• Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good English and numeracy skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good oral and written communication skills in English

Role Tasks

• Verify that prepared meals meet all menu specifications and special requests
• Ensure correct quantities are ready for uplift
• Complete security checks in line with DFT requirements
• Monitor and report any operational delays
